As a Staffing Assistant you will have some responsibilities:
* Maintain and update staffing control spreadsheets and internal databases on a daily basis
* Support the monitoring of consultant allocations, availability, and project timelines
* Assist in generating reports and dashboards to support workforce planning decisions
* Identify inconsistencies in data and flag them proactively to the team
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and control routines
What we're looking for
* Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's degree program (Business, Administration, Economics, Engineering, and similar are a plus)
* Analytical mindset with a curiosity to understand the numbers behind the data
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
* Comfortable with data control, and structured routines, which is a big part of the day-to-day
* Good written communication skills in English and/or Spanish
* Someone who is team-oriented, as you'll be working closely with a small internal team rather than managing external stakeholders
* Proactive, organized, and comfortable with operational tasks
* Eager to learn and open to feedback
A Day in the Staffing Team
Staffing sits at the heart of a consulting firm. Every project that gets delivered, every client relationship that moves forward, every consultant that grows professionally: none of it happens without someone ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time. That is what this team does.
The work follows a weekly governance rhythm of recurring meetings, reports, and planning cycles that give the week its backbone, but no two days are exactly the same. On any given day, you might be cross-referencing allocation data against the latest project updates, identifying and resolving inconsistencies in the databases, preparing materials, sending communications to project teams and professionals, or reviewing whether allocation balances are still aligned with what was planned. Team meetings are a regular part of the week, as is responding to ad hoc requests that come in as projects evolve.
What stays consistent is the underlying discipline: the information needs to be accurate, decisions need to be grounded in data, and the people on both the consulting and the project leadership sides need to be kept informed. Key skills and experience for this role:
- Bachelor’s Degree (completed or studying);
